Grinnell College Libraries Bulletin Board Policy


Entrance and Exit Bulletin Boards

Posters for campus and community evenst that are open to the public may be posted on the bulletin boards by the entrance and exit to Burling Library.

 

Posters must be dated and initialed by a circulation supervisor or a reference librarian.


Posted must be smaller than 14 x 22 inches.


Posters are removed once the event has occurred or after three weeks.


All posters must comply with campus life policies as outlined in the Grinnell College Student Handbook, especially, "advertising/Signs" p. 91-92.

Human Resources Bulletin Board

This bulletin board is located on the east side of the central office core, first floor. It is reserved for the use of the Human Resources Office for such things as job announcements, wellness programs, and legally required signage.

Display Bulletin Board

This bulletin board is located on the west side of the central office core, first floor. Half of this bulletin board is reserved for the use of library. The other half may be used for student organizations, for example a student group's display on Black History Month.

The time limit of one month.


The name and email of a contact person for the organization must be in the display.


The display must be neat.


The display must be approved by a reference librarian.

 

All posters must comply with campus life policies as outlined in the Grinnell College Student Handbook, especially, "advertising/Signs" p. 91-92.
