Processing and Binding and Repair
TheBinding and Repair area is responsible for preparing newly cataloged material for the shelf, all monographic binding, and in-house repair. This unit is an integral part of the Libraries' preservation program, which seeks to ensure that library materials have both a long and useful life.
Patrons should return damaged library materials to the circulation desk in person. If the damage is not obvious (e.g. missing pages), please explain the damage to the person at the desk or include a note describing the problem.
The Processing students maintain the New Books Cart which is located in the Current Periodicals area on Burling 1st.
