Typed script for “Mad With Joy or A Guilty Thing Surprized”,
Chronicle in Two Acts. 80 pages.
The play was originally presented as a staged reading by The
Poets’ Theatre at Agassiz Theatre, Cambridge, MA. March
1, 1993.
Provenance: Ms. Clampitt sent a copy of the
script to David Hammer, (class of 1951), a distant relative
of hers and an attorney in Dubuque, in March 1994. He sent
a copy to President Pamela Ferguson in June 1996.
