East Asian

In 1989, the college purchased a collection of approximately 10,000 volumes of classical Chinese literature, forming the nucleus of the East Asian Collection. That was followed in 1998 by a significant addition of modern Chinese literature. While Chinese language materials form the bulk of the East Asian Collection, there are works in Korean and Japanese as well.

The East Asian Collection is located around the center stairwell on the second floor of Burling Library.
